West Maui - Kaanapali

A beautiful day in Paradise. Is it really winter? February on Maui. There were so many Humpback whales breaching off shore that where ever you looked there was big fountains of water. One guy was just floating along enjoying the ocean. Kayaker's were zipping along into the wind. Just pop a kite from the return trip and you would fly down the coast.

Happy Valentines Day

Maui is bright, beautiful, WARM and the best place in the world to be right now. A perfect temperature in the low 80 degree's. Check out the beach just minutes ago at Napili Bay. A nice little shore break.

Protea from Upcountry Maui

Protea grow well in the cooler Upcountry air on the slopes of Haleakala Crater. Between 1,800 feet and 4,000 feet is the growing belt on Maui. Cool winter evenings from 60 degrees down to 40 degrees enhances a multitude kaleidoscope of blooms. With Valentines approaching mom and dad shipped out over 1200 pincushion blooms and a variety of other Protea's on Monday.
